Just last Saturday, Tin and I decided to watch MI4 at Glorietta. She’ll be coming from QC and me from Manila, so why Makati? One reason… We missed Banapple A LOT! The last time I was able to drop by the place was… Three months ago?
The branch we frequently visit was the one in Ayala Triangle. Lucky that we arrived there a bit early. If we’re 5 more minutes late, we won’t be able to get a seat. As usual, it’s pretty crowded since it’s a Saturday afternoon.
One reason why I love visiting Banapple, aside from their food, is their interior. I love the cute, homey decors they have all around the place. I’m not a fan of their tables though. I always end up spilling something due to my clumsy nature and their marbled-designed table top’s not helping. Well, yeah, they’re cute to look at. The only thing I dislike is the crowded place.

We’re both a bit full at that time and the main reason why we went there were the cakes! Instead of ordering pasta or one of their main meals, we decided to settle on a tuna sandwich. For PhP130, I can honestly say that the sandwich’s worth the price (actually, even more!) The tuna spread was “filled to the brim” since we can’t simply raise our halves and easily eat it. The spread kept falling off the bread.

Lastly, drumroll please… The cakes! Banapple’s cakes are worth every cent you pay when it comes to servings and taste. What I liked about their cakes is that it’s not too sweet. I do have a sweet tooth but I dislike anything that’s TOO sweet. Really now, their cakes are to die for! This place is HEAVEN for cake lovers!

In all, the resto’s great, service’s good, price range’s fair and food’s fabulous! I just wish they’d get a bigger place soon to accommodate all their customers! Better yet, let them open a branch here in Manila!
So, If you ever had a chance to drop by Ayala Triangle, do take some time to visit “Banapple”! I assure you, it’ll be worth your time and money!
