Sing with me now! In the tune of Blue’s Clues’ “We just got a letter”!
I got myself a new phone!
I got myself a new phone!
I got myself a new phone!
(I don’t know how to end this… Lolz!)
I finally decided to sell my myPhone QP29 for a Japanese phone and decided to settle for Softbank 740sc. The phone’s actually from Samsung and for a text-voice phone, it’s perfect for an alternative/second phone.
The emoticons “emoji” are too cute! No wonder Japanese tend to send way lot of emojis in their text messages. 2MP camera captures quite good images. Since I won’t be using this phone for multimedia purposes, I’ll settle with this one.
Softbank 740sc is “OK” for someone who’s not looking for feature-enhanced phones.
Some actual images of my new phone. Also attached in the album is one pic (the laptop) I took using the phone’s camera.

Here are some overview of the said phone. Videos takes via YouTube
And here’s the video I took using my phone. Quality’s not good since the phone’s camera is not that high-end.
Here, I would like to share some of the phone’s features like the “Show 3D Pictograms” and “Dictionary”.
I only tried out the “English Dictionary” function. You'll just enter the term you want to look up and the dictionary will look-up the Japanese term for you. Of course, it’s helpful if you can read at least in Hiragana.

I haven’t checked the “Japanese Dictionary” yet but I’ve included a pic of the screen.

And, my favorite, the “3D Pictograms” wherein emoji animations are displayed. Take this one for example. I chose a set of emojis and when I chose “Show 3D Pictograms”, emoji animations are displayed. Take note, this is not MMS but simply sent as SMS.

Here’s another one. A friend of mine sent me SMS which simply states “Haha Ok..” and when I ran “3D Pictrograms”…
